Sherry W. Grant is a graduate student at UNC-Pembroke in the English Education/Thesis concentration program. She is also an adjunct instructor at Robeson Community College in N.C. for transition English courses. Sherry is a first-generation graduate student and instructs many first-generation community college students. She plans to continue to teach English and composition at community college after graduation and support all of her students with a continued special focus on her first-gen students.
