About this Workshop

Join us to discuss the experiences that come with being a first-generation college student at New York University. This panel permits students to hear directly from current first-gen undergraduate students and will be facilitated by a first-gen graduate student. Topics to be discussed are: mental health/wellness, belonging, community & networking, family expectations & pressures, navigating multiple identities, & achieving academic success. Audience members will have the chance to ask panelists questions towards the end of the session.
