About this Workshop
The learning objective is the audience will be able to learn about the identity of a first-generation graduate professional, and the barriers that they face within higher education institutions. Our hope is to bring awareness to the intersectionality of student identities at Boston University. Thus, there is an importance to support first-generation graduate/professional students. BU is happy to announce that they have made a commitment by using Newbury College endowment to create the Newbury Center. We will explain the way the NC is supporting first-generation students today.
